Rabbits, Resurrection and Celebrations

What better way to start Easter than with a breakfast of bunnies? Or at least bunny-shaped pancakes!!! I say there is none.

Church was fantastically amazing. I really love when the lessons and talks focus on the Savior. Don't get me wrong, other topics are good, but I personally find it more uplifting when we focus on the what the gospel is really about. Our Bishop spoke today and I think he is just an amazing individual. Our ward is so service-oriented, which I absolutely LOVE, and I think it has a lot to do with our Bishop.

After church, we had a little dinner party for Easter. I call it the 'Homeless Easter Dinner' since basically everyone there didn't have anywhere to go for the holiday and NOT because I was feeding the homeless. I have always hated being alone or without plans on holidays; and it just makes me sad to think that others are doing the same thing. So I thought, why not be alone together. Plus, who doesn't want to have dinner at my house? No, really, does anyone know of any individual who doesn't want to eat here....I'd like to invite them to dinner. Well, there was tons of yummy food; all of which was not provided by me. I think I deserve a gold star for delegation. So after food and goodie baskets and some lessons about the Savior...Easter came to an end.

Sadly, another Easter has passed and I have not gotten a duckling. This is distressing.
