I knew I'd get your attention. PJ told me about a T-shirt she had with this phrase on it. She, however, didn't understand it's subtle undertones. Innocent, little PJ, how we love you. (BOGO?) Apparently, it was from a snowball (snow cone to all you weird non-southerners) stand back home.
In other dirty news, I found out this weekend that making Whoopie is fun! So fun that I did it twice...man, SOO goood!! Here's a picture of the magical event...
Whoopie Pies...aka Homemade OreosOf course it's cookies...you dirty pervs! Sick!
Don't you just love the English language and comedic timing? So anyone else have any good plays on words?
Addendum to Post: Jamie Oliver, a British chef said this “Men are driven by sex... So the best way for women to get their men into the kitchen would be to stop having sex with them until they start to cook.” and I think it's hysterical!
As per your requests:
Whoopie Pie/Homemade Oreos
1 devil's food cake mix
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
Mix the above ingredients together. Roll the dough into dime-sized balls and place on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Cool cookies.
FROSTING:
8 oz. cream cheese (softened)
1/2 square butter (softened)
2 tsp. vanilla
2 to 4 c. powdered sugar
1/2 square butter (softened)
2 tsp. vanilla
2 to 4 c. powdered sugar
Mix all of frosting ingredients until smooth. Frost Bottoms of cookies and place together to make sandwich cookie.
Side note: This makes a lot of frosting; you may want to double the cookie dough recipe.
